My Favorite Movies: Time Travel Version

These are a few (dozen) of my favorite things (movies). Specifically, my favorite movie for each year I’ve been alive. But before we fire up the flex capacitor, the caveats:

  1. I had to have actually seen the movie the year it was released to include it on my list. The only exception is for the first few years of my life because I have no memory of seeing any movies in any theaters during that time. In those cases, I get to just pick my current favorite movie from that year.
  2. It had to be my favorite THAT year. In 1984, 10-year-old me would have had to say: “The Karate Kid is my favorite movie!” It’s not my favorite from 1984 ANYMORE but I also thought girls with perms were hot then, too. Times change.
  3. This is a list of my “FAVORITES”. This is not a claim that the selected movie is the best movie from that year.

Hold on to your butts.
